Mr. Chandler joins the firm’s real estate department representing developers in connection with land acquisition and development. He also represents mortgage broker/bankers, banks, savings banks, insurance companies and other institutional lenders concerning lending, foreclosure, regulatory and compliance matters. Mr. Chandler's practice areas include real property, real estate finance, debtor/creditor, secured transactions, banking and financial institutions, commercial leasing and business law.
Community Involvement
From 1981-84 Mr. Chandler served as a member and then acting chairman, and from 1984-85 as chairman, of the Community Development Steering Committee of the City of Phoenix. During 1987-88, he was a member of the Maintenance Service Center Subcommittee of the 1988 Phoenix Citizens Bond Committee. From 1986-89 Mr. Chandler served on the Council of the Real Property Section of the State Bar of Arizona and contributed to the Sections’ publications. He participated in section committees responsible for amendments to Arizona's deed of trust and condominium laws and appeared on the faculty of educational programs sponsored by the State Bar and others. He actively participated in preparing the 1989 and 2004 Reports of the Arizona Business Law Section Committee on Rendering Legal Opinions in Business Transactions. He served terms on both the Vestry and the school board of trustees at his local church.
