Yvonne Norris Beshany is licensed in Nevada , Alabama , and Texas , and has practiced in state and federal courts across the nation, particularly in the Southeast and West Coast regions. Ms. Beshany concentrates her practice in civil litigation. After finishing law school, Ms. Beshany spent many years working as a defense attorney for one Birmingham 's largest defense firms. She practiced all aspects of litigation in state and federal courts on the trial and appellate levels, obtaining broad experience in the areas of commercial and consumer finance, banking, utility, insurance litigation, and insurance coverage disputes, as well as general litigation matters. Ms. Beshany also gained experience in intellectual property disputes, including non-competition litigation, domain name disputes, and other Internet-related matters. Ms. Beshany then spent some time with a smaller, plaintiff-based practice, working extensively in the areas of medical malpractice, elder and vulnerable person abuse, in addition to gaining further experience in the utility and commercial areas of litigation. With this balanced background, Ms. Beshany opened Beshany Law Group LLC in June of 2006. The firm has quickly become a place providing quality legal representation through counsel with integrity. Ms. Beshany represents and has represented both corporate entities and individuals as plaintiffs and defendants at the trial and appellate levels. Additionally, she has experience working with clients to resolve disputes outside the judicial arena through settlement, mediation and arbitration. Prior to becoming an attorney, Ms. Beshany worked in the commercial areas of two Birmingham-based banks. |
